Want some help with your skin and great facials?

There are so many types of facial treatment, most of which make us feel wonderful and allow us much needed time to relax and be pampered, and rightly so!  We deserve it!! But which should you choose clinical facials or a beauty facials?

Some facials are better than others?  What’s the difference?

Relaxing spa facials.

A lot of us have experienced a ‘spa’ facial, a relaxing, cleansing, exfoliating or massaging type of facial, with fragranced essential oils and feel-good products.  Great for our well being, leaving us refreshed and relaxed and our skin cleansed and moisturised.  Probably not doing anything more than getting rid of the surface skin cells or aiding hydration.  But the whole experience may make us feel good – fab!  Generally, you’ll pay between £35 and as much as £195 in this area for a facial, depending on where you book.

Clinical facials work slightly differently.

The aim of clinical facials is to address problems, improve skin health and prevent significant skin issues.  Acne can be helped, rosacea can be improved, lines and wrinkles can be softened, scarring corrected, skin can be tightened, aging can be slowed!  Leading technologies are often used such as radio frequency, LED, vacuum or cavitation.  You’ll see medical grade products on the practitioner’s trolley rather than cosmetic products.  Some of which may require prescriptions!  You may also see needling devices used in a controlled damage treatment to regenerate tissue, stimulate collagen & elastin.   Or chemical peels, with the same purpose.  You’ll pay between £59 and £249 for treatment but be assured, these treatments will have made a difference to your skin health, and over time, will show significant & sometimes dramatic differences!

So take your pick!  Is it a spa or clinic for you?

This may help to guide you to find your solution.  All problems can be significantly improved with medical skin care specifically planned for use for you!
