Want to know more about lip filler & lip augmentation with an experienced doctor who will ensure you get a great look?
Lip fillers are so popular. Younger lips want to be plumper – no surprise with the amount of pouting going on with ‘selfies’! More mature lips want a naturally restored shape, smoother texture and more defined border. Lips can be more defined and lines can be reduced or eliminated with small amounts of dermal filler; hydrated with hyaluronic acid. A successful treatment with little risk if carried out by a trained, experienced doctor. But before you’re thinking about taking the plunge for lip filler & lip augmentation, here’s a few tips.
1. Any dermal filler will be absorbed by your body over time, so is unlikely to last more than about 6 months so your outlay could be £250-£350 – about £50 per month – once you start?
2. If you want the treatment to give you more confidence, then yes it may help. However, it won’t ‘change your life’ so think carefully about your decision and love yourself first!
3. Choose a doctor or nurse who is experienced in this procedure. They should be GMC, NMC or Saveface registered. (Beware of beauty practitioners who have completed a short course.) We’ve seen some horrendous lips carried out by practitioners who clearly don’t think about giving a great look and are taking risks! More is not always better!
4. Any aesthetic treatment should be used to enhance your look not dramatically change it. If you have small lips then your face is unlikely to suit lips three times your normal size!! This treatment is great for balancing lip asymmetry or irregularity.
